Best of: The beginning

I'm setting up a few scheduled posts to show up in the next couple days. These will be links to a post or a group of posts that I feel have some particular meaning to me or possibly interest to you. Several of you have mentioned to me that you've been going through the archives during my little break, and I can't tell you how honored I am that you would take the time to do so. Thank you.

So by request, I'll link to a few highlights, or possibly lowlights, we'll see.

Since many of you have joined up with this roller coaster in the more recent past, maybe the last year or so, I'll start from the beginning. Here's where it all began, July 2007. And remember, I still receive comments on old posts, so feel free to leave one. In fact, I'd love to get a take on how you feel about them since time has passed and even my own perspective may have morphed a little.

Enjoy. And thanks for reading.

Streamlining the Blogs

I know it's been forever, and yes, Facebook is much to blame.  For as long as I held out and didn't join, now I see it's simplicity (and it's ability to suck up all my online time!!). BUT--After much pondering, I've decided I'm not giving up on blogging! Sometimes a narrative or story will be better served in a blog format, so I'm combining blogs into one.   Intentional Family  is our new all-in-one blog for the goings on of our family, Braska's progress, celebrations, and challenges, as well as the amazing rise of little sister Kinlee. Other places you could check out if you so choose would be our new business  Larae Photography LLC on Facebook  or on the web at  www.Larae-Photo.com , or the page for my hobbies-gone-busy  Just RK Designs . So if there ARE any blog readers still out there, please come on over to the new place and join up for the ride.  All the old posts from the 3 previous blogs will be there soon so you can catch up if you ...

Multi-mothering

Last week, Jen , Mark, and Sophie came to town for Sophie's ear tube placement at SLCH . We met up after the procedure at the Galleria so Jen could snag some shoes for Sophie (not that she was able to get what she wanted, unfortunately, but the Robeez Sophie got were super cute!). The double stroller we have is very good, it maneuvers very smoothly and opens and folds up really easily. Since it's so easy to deal with, I thought I'd add another task or two to the situation... Most of you know that you can click on the pictures in any post and they'll open up bigger. But in case you can't see clearly enough... Is there a law against driving a double stroller with one hand while holding a newborn with the other while holding the bottle with my chin?? (No, but there should be a law against that double chin that is created with this position!)
