Neighborly surprise

Yes, sir. That's right. That would be our neighbor mowing our lawn. And he asked if he could trim too. He saw that our mower was broken over the weekend. And the grass is quite high. Amazing. First time I have ever talked to him other than a particularly stressful day several weeks ago.

    Oh my goodness...how awesome is that. I love it when someone sees a need and responds to it...I should do that more often!

    What a great neighbor!! Nothing warms the heart like a good deed. I need to get better about those random acts of kindness.

    We've come home from vacation a couple of times to a freshly cut yard by our neighbor. He also often works from home and several times during the winter he's used his snow blower on our driveway.

    Nice to know you can find neighbors like that in the city as well as in the country. Neighbors are like friends... to find one be one!
