Quality

I'm so darn fortunate to have buddies like you commenters/emailers in the last 24 hours. This is why I blog and love the blogging community. (And for the 2 of you who actually have the privilege of knowing me personally and in the flesh...tee hee...you remind me why I must not be TOO bad at making friends. So great, you guys!)

Thanks for your input. I'm not depressed or sulking or anything. Just thinking and pondering and musing and internalizing and mulling. And enjoying my thesaurus apparently.

If you haven't read the comments on the post from yesterday, it's worth your time. I have some really wise friends, and I love that they share honestly with me.

Comments

  1. I didn't get a chance to comment yesterday, but I read yours and Braska's blog almost every day. Keep up the good work!

Also, our little guy Max had to have a pyloromyotomy (sp?) when he was 3 weeks old at the Children's Hospital in Peoria. I had a peace about the whole thing just because I'd read all your positive stories about the hospitals, nurses and doctors in St. Louis. So, thanks for that!

Streamlining the Blogs

I know it's been forever, and yes, Facebook is much to blame.  For as long as I held out and didn't join, now I see it's simplicity (and it's ability to suck up all my online time!!). BUT--After much pondering, I've decided I'm not giving up on blogging! Sometimes a narrative or story will be better served in a blog format, so I'm combining blogs into one.   Intentional Family  is our new all-in-one blog for the goings on of our family, Braska's progress, celebrations, and challenges, as well as the amazing rise of little sister Kinlee. Other places you could check out if you so choose would be our new business  Larae Photography LLC on Facebook  or on the web at  www.Larae-Photo.com , or the page for my hobbies-gone-busy  Just RK Designs . So if there ARE any blog readers still out there, please come on over to the new place and join up for the ride.  All the old posts from the 3 previous blogs will be there soon so you can catch up if you ...

Multi-mothering

Last week, Jen , Mark, and Sophie came to town for Sophie's ear tube placement at SLCH . We met up after the procedure at the Galleria so Jen could snag some shoes for Sophie (not that she was able to get what she wanted, unfortunately, but the Robeez Sophie got were super cute!). The double stroller we have is very good, it maneuvers very smoothly and opens and folds up really easily. Since it's so easy to deal with, I thought I'd add another task or two to the situation... Most of you know that you can click on the pictures in any post and they'll open up bigger. But in case you can't see clearly enough... Is there a law against driving a double stroller with one hand while holding a newborn with the other while holding the bottle with my chin?? (No, but there should be a law against that double chin that is created with this position!)
