These are the materials my girls like best.  I credit them, and our consistency in working with them, for my girls early letter/number recognition and early reading skills.  We love all of it… letters, numbers, shapes, colors, sight words, and phonics.

    I got the Preschool Prep Co videos a couple of months ago, Tommy didn't like them. I checked many reviews and try to understand the content of this teaching to read system, so I know it is a good teaching method. I didn't got discouraged! I fund Preschool Prep has apps and I gave it a try! Tommy has engaged with the apps. The first try, he was available to recognize 5 sight words. He is a Kinesthetic learner (my boy is like a puzzle), so the apps are more sensory appealing for him. But now, he is enjoying the videos, too. I knew about Preschool Prep Co because of you and I am very excited with the results in a short period of time.

New Fave-o Site

Get a cup of good hot chocolate, put on your comfy clothes, and settle in with some non-rushed time to check out Dan Drinker's site . I can't even tell you how much I love watching these videos and reading what his family has written about him. I feel like I want to tune into the Dan Drinker 24-hour channel or something. Dan is a young man with DS who is living and loving life, and his younger brother Will captures much of it on video. It's priceless, in my opinion. I just love it. Check out the blog, watch some videos, tell them that you've been there. I wish this guy lived near me! The most recent post, about Breaking Up with Christine , is funny and poignant.
