I do the laundry, the girls like to push the wet clothes into the dryer and put the dryer sheet in, but it's basically all me.

2.Yes, I have a 3 bag sorter also, one for darks, one for towels, and one for whites and work clothes (they are supposed to be dry cleaned but I just wash them onthe delicate cycle and call it a day!!)

3. I fold my clothes at the dryer cuz I have a clothes rack in the laundry room where I hang my clothes until I decided to carry them to my closet. I fold the towels and the girls' clothes on the couch.

4. Nope, it all goes in the dryer. We don't like crunchy clothes, either!

5.I use Shout spray gel and let it sit for the entire alotted 7 days. I have heard that scrubbing the stain with Dawn (yes, dish soap!) and letting it sit for 15-20 mins can be a miracle workerMindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10520963498588240666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354838298487883182.post-82771189090638849182008-10-02T15:02:00.000-05:002008-10-02T15:02:00.000-05:00Ah yes if you ever feel like you are without a goo...Ah yes if you ever feel like you are without a good spot to put the clothes between drying and folding. Get out your pack and play! I can get a good 9 loads in there!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354838298487883182.post-57727238316629225002008-09-30T20:59:00.000-05:002008-09-30T20:59:00.000-05:00I do most of the laundry. I wish I had a laundry ...I do most of the laundry. I wish I had a laundry room. Ours is in a closet in the hallway. Hubby and I have a sorter that we use and the kids have a sorter....well let's say....we're lucky if it gets used. I prefer to fold them at the dryer because I know they will get put away right then. Otherwise, they will stay on the coffee table for a week! I'm picky about the way towels are folded. I can't stand for them to be folded different ways. I send the stains to my mom! She's a pro!Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05464045194591166819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354838298487883182.post-6822034342054242292008-09-30T20:56:00.000-05:002008-09-30T20:56:00.000-05:00I have laundry issues. Only full loads for ecology's sake, pre-treat stains, hang to dry as many items as possible.
It is totally ridiculous!
My husband gets mad because he cannot understand my bizantine system. It is somewhat like your 'if it is old it all goes in together, if it fits we must treat it kindly'. he wants hard and fast rules. How can he know what fits?
thank goodness our nanny does the laundry now. I try to stay out of it but cannot reisist running to oxyclean something the girls stain!moplanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16998309937928231527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354838298487883182.post-1348018953881380042008-09-30T18:03:00.000-05:002008-09-30T18:03:00.000-05:001-I do about 90%. I can knock out six loads in a day sometimes!
2-Just the usual sorting.
3-Dump on the green chair is a must and fold while watching TV or the kids.
4-Maybe a blouse or two gets hung up but everything else gets dried.
5-Shout has been the best thing so far. I've gotten 95% of all the boys' stains out. But here's the best thing that I've tried. My towels were getting that icky smell of moldiness. So I wash them in hot (even the dark ones) and add vinegar to the fabric cycle and then do an extra rinse. They smell great! Seriously!
Hope you're having a great week!
-NicoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354838298487883182.post-48476213051759932732008-09-30T15:17:00.000-05:002008-09-30T15:17:00.000-05:00Karen K--I do like the sharing part. The Pack N Play!RKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11259757888643034394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354838298487883182.post-80176740938552581652008-09-30T15:11:00.000-05:002008-09-30T15:11:00.000-05:00Laundry...it never ends...So here is our system. ...Laundry...it never ends...
So here is our system. I try to wash and dry all the laundry in the house by Sunday night...Amazing Race night:-) Then when the kids are in bed we fold together. This is how we typically do it. During the off season, if there is nothing that we are watching together then I fold most of it, but he still helps here and there.

I am a sorter, but I am like you RK if there are odds and ends and they are not red, anything goes. I guess that is a quirk of mine. I do not care how many times it has been washed reds stand alone.

Another quirk I have is that I do not dry overalls. I love denim overalls on the girls but I have found that when in the dryer the buckles either get broken or they get so hot that they can actually put holes in other clothes. It took me a while to figure that one out, but ever since...no overalls in they dryer. I hang them and enjoy the cruchie jeans later:-)

My problem with laundry is the putting away, because I tend to get busy with other stuff on Mondays and then we just start living out of the baskets...bad house wife I am:-) One note on this though, hubby puts his own away, so I just have to do mine and the girls. He would help with putting the girls away if he knew who's was what and where it goes.

As far as stains go I have tried many things and now I either use Shout or a bleach pen.
Oh and I love dryer sheets! They make everything smell so nice, I love getting towels and sheets out of the dryer...mmmm, so warm and smelly good!
So there you have it, I think RK was refering to the part where my hubby helps fold while we watch our favorite show as the part I should share. If I missed a part let me know RK:-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354838298487883182.post-52870650420944990022008-09-30T13:46:00.000-05:002008-09-30T13:46:00.000-05:00Laundry...I HATE doing laundry. It gets sorted as ...Laundry...I HATE doing laundry. It gets sorted as I do it. I don't have much organization in the whole seperate baskets things. Pretty much I keep reds and towels seperate and that's it. Russ and I are pretty equal in who washes and dries. I think he actually enjoys hanging laundry on the clothesline. I am the sole folder and putter-away-person which almost never happens...unless we are having company over. It stays on the office couch until one or the other happens.

And I agree. I also do not use fabric softner on towels. It really does make them absorb better! Especially kitchen towels that are always used to clean up someones spilled drink. :)

MistyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354838298487883182.post-71965103348883919272008-09-30T13:43:00.000-05:002008-09-30T13:43:00.000-05:00Mine's up! I use the Shout Advanced and the Stain be gone Advanced, those two generally get the job done.
